Erick Sermon, also known by his stage name “The Green-Eyed Bandit”, was born on the 25th November 1968, in Bayshore, Long Island, New York, USA. Rapper and music producer most famous for being one half of the prominent east coast hip-hop duo EPMD along with Parrish Smith. He released his first solo album No Pressure in 1993 and has provided production for artists like Keith Murray and Method Man. According to Astrologers, zodiac sign is Sagittarius.
Erick Sermon started professionally in 1986 as a Producer and Artist of the legendary hip hop group EPMD. He began recording solo albums for Def Jam in 1993; in 1997, he rejoined EPMD. The following year, Sermon, Murray and Redman recorded a cover version of “Rapper’s Delight” by the Sugarhill Gang, the first hip hop record. EPMD disbanded a second time in 1999.
He teamed up with EPMD once again in 2008 to work on the band's seventh album and to start the group's own record label. Sermon has worked with dozens of artists, including Sean Paul, Busta Rhymes, Def Squad, The Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ja Rule, Shaquille O'Neal, and Method Man.
